Analyse critique de l'interview de Massad Boulos sur Radio Kinshasa

Introduction

L'interview accordée récemment par Massad Boulos à Radio Kinshasa a provoqué une onde de choc dans l'opinion publique congolaise et au-delà. Ses propos, loin d'apporter de la clarté sur la crise de l'Est de la République démocratique du Congo (RDC), ont été perçus comme une tentative de minimiser la gravité des crimes commis, de détourner l'attention de la responsabilité directe du Rwanda, et de redéfinir unilatéralement les priorités diplomatiques.

Selon Boulos, les négociations de Doha constitueraient le cœur du problème, alors même que l'Accord de Washington avait été présenté par les États-Unis comme le principal outil de résolution. Donald Trump, dans son style caractéristique, s'était même vanté d'avoir « arrêté la guerre » entre Kigali et Kinshasa grâce à cet accord. Pourtant, la guerre se poursuit, le M23 progresse, et les Forces de défense rwandaises (RDF) continuent d'opérer en territoire congolais.
